A standard (hosted) catalog's data is hosted on Unimarket's website and can be created by uploading a spreadsheet of products. Products can be:

Added, Deleted, or Edited (individually or in bulk) once the initial catalog has been created.

Linked to a form, that allows additional configuration options such as: size or color. For more information on forms, please refer to help article Creating Catalog Forms.

Priced (e.g. $10.00 per item) with an Add to Cart button or Request for Quote ("RFQ") with a Get Quote button.
Creating a Catalog via CSV File
Before creating a hosted catalog, you will need to create a CSV file that follows our Catalog Template. To access and download the CSV file, refer to help article Catalog Template.
Uploading a Catalog
Prior to creating your first hosted catalog, please ensure you have set up your delivery and payment options. For additional information, refer to help article Create Delivery Options.
How to Upload A Hosted Catalog

To upload a hosted catalog, select Catalog on left side panel > click Create Catalog.
There are 4 steps to complete when uploading a catalog. All fields marked with a red asterisk are required fields. Once each step is completed, select Continue to proceed forward or click Back to return to the previous page.
1. Header tab
Allows you to name the catalog and define the catalog Shipping Details and Catalog Type.

Catalog Name is name of catalog. This will be visible to the buyer.

Catalog Description: Allows you to enter a brief description of the catalog.

Shipping Option: Select from the pre-determined drop down list, by clicking the dropdown arrow.

Catalog Type: Choose Standard to create a hosted catalog. If you are setting up a Punchout catalog, Contact Unimarket Support to organize testing.

2. Schedule
Allows you to determine how long you want the catalog to run.
Please note, you can stop the catalog at any time.
In the Publish field, chose Publish Now or Review Draft > check Start immediately when published box to start the catalog immediately, upon completion or choose a start date in the Start Date field. Selecting Review Draft will upload a catalog in the 'Pending Catalog' section with all the products under the Draft tab.
The End Date field can remain blank to create a never-ending catalog, if desired.
3. Customers
Select the customers that will have access to your catalog.
If you have selected a customer with Catalog Approval enabled, you will be unable to add additional customers to this catalog.
4. Upload
Click Browse and > select the CSV or ZIP file you wish to upload. If you do not have a catalog CSV file, you can learn more on our Catalog Images and Template help article.
Select Finish upon completion. Upon selecting, you will be referred to the catalog in progress screen where you can monitor the progress of the catalog.
Catalog In Progress Errors
You may receive the following errors:
1. Validation errors were found in products
To resolve the error, click View to see and edit these errors.
2. Error when processing data load
This error means the file is unreadable by Unimarket, which may be caused by the file format not being CSV or an incorrect header. Please reach out to Unimarket Support (Support@unimarket.com) with your catalog for assistance.
Note: Catalogs that are not completed in the Catalogs in Progress screen, will be deleted from Unimarket one month after being loaded. |
View Store
To see how your customer view your catalog, go to Profile > View Store > click the catalog name to browse your products.
